Source Codes and Sharing Links (QR Codes)

Hey guys, Rob here at BodyShop Booster and today I want to talk about source tags and sharing links.

Sharing Links give you access to marketing tools - the damage assessment tool, calendars and contact forms. Each of these are tracked by a Source Tag, so that you know where your leads are coming from - whether that's to spiff a service writer, or to know where to adjust your ad spend.

So, the first thing we need to do is make a source tag. to do this we go to Tags > Source Tags and click on Add Source Tag. We need to give is a name and a description. Let's make one for service advisor Fred Flintstone at Bedrock Auto. Select a color and click Add.

Now that I have a Source Tag, I can attach that to a Sharing Link, under the Marketing menu. Click Add Link. Name it, select your Module, assign the Source Tag and click Add. From here we can grab the link or even the QR code. Any lead that comes from this link now will be sourced as Fred Flintstone.
