Transfering customer repair to another record

This new feature allows users to transfer a repair record from one customer profile to another.

  • Ideal for situations where the original customer changes during the repair process — such as when a self-pay customer decides to file an insurance claim and the assignment arrives under a different name.
  • Helps keep customer data clean and ensures all repair activity is correctly associated with the final, active customer.
  • To use: open the repair record, click the three-dot menu, select "Transfer Repair to Another Customer," choose the correct customer, and confirm.
  • Once transferred, the full repair record will now live under the updated customer profile — no duplicate records or confusion.
  • This was one of our most requested features and is now available to all users.
