Site Settings
There are two features within the Site Settings section of Booster.
Calendar default messages - this has two sections and relates to hard coded messages that get sent to customers. These can be turned off if you prefer to make your own calendar messaging.
Choosing your default Photo tool for the Doc Wallet- this allows you to choose which Damage Assessment Tool is the default for your customers Doc Wallet. This is used when customers want to add new repairs straight from their document wallet. You can choose between the Simple or Advanced tool.
Accessing Site Settings:
- Log In: Sign in to your BodyShop Booster account.
- Navigate to Admin Panel: Click on the downward arrow beside your initials in the top-right corner.
- Select 'Admin': From the dropdown menu, choose 'Admin'.
- Go to Settings: Within the Admin panel, click on 'Settings'.
To turn any of these features on or off, just toggle the switch. Then SAVE
Calendar default messages:
We have default messages that will send out on the following cases:
Hardcoded Notifications for Calendar booking Create/ Edit/ Delete:
- Appointment is Created- the system will send out a confirmation.
The customer will first get a message as follows:
#SHOP NAME sent you a calendar booking invite, click on the link to see more details: <LINK>
Once they click the link they will be brought into their DOC WALLET
They will then get this text message confirmation:
Hi,
This is a friendly reminder and confirmation of your upcoming appointment for your #YEAR #MAKE #MODEL at #SHOP NAME. We look forward to serving you on #Scheduled Date at #Start time.
If there are any changes or if you need to reschedule, kindly let us know as soon as possible.
We are here to make your experience as smooth and convenient as possible. Thank you for choosing #SHOP NAME.

- Appointment is Edited- the system will send out a edit confirmation.
The customer will first receive this message from the system:
#SHOP NAME modified your calendar booking invite, click on the link to see more details: <LINK>
Once they click the link they will be brought into their DOC WALLET
They will then get this message regarding any type of edit:
Hi, Your booking related to #YEAR #MAKE #MODEL at #SHOP NAME has been updated to #Scheduled Date at #Start time. Please make a note of the revised details.

- Appointment is Deleted- the system will send out a confirmation.
The customer will first receive this message from the system:
#SHOP NAME canceled your calendar booking invite, click on the link to see more details: <LINK>
Once they click the link they will be brought into their DOC WALLET.
They will then get this message regarding the cancelled appointment:
Hi, This is to notify you that your appointment at #SHOP NAME on #Scheduled Date at #Start time. has been cancelled due to #CANCELATION REASON.

Please note: Cancelling an appointment will NOT change the status of the Repair Record.

Reminder email is sent 1 day prior to the appointment.
The customer will receive this message from the system:
Hi #FIRST NAME
Just a friendly reminder about your upcoming auto body repair appointment at #SHOP NAME on #Scheduled Date at #Start time. We're excited to get your vehicle looking brand new again!

Simple Damage Assessment Tool - Does not require PIN
The tool will guide your customers to enter their customer and vehicle details, upload 7 damage photos, a picture of their VIN (this can be typed and or skipped) a damage video (Can be skipped) and 2 questions..
Advanced Damage Assessment Tool - Requires customers create a PIn for the DOC Wallet first
The tool will guide your customers to enter their customer and vehicle details, upload 7 damage photos, as well as a damage video. Then they are asked to answer 4 questions, upload a picture of their VIN (or typed out) and finally add any insurance details.
