Common error codes when sending text messages
Error 500
This is an internal error code as your phone line has not finished being configured.
This could take up to 3 BD for Toll Free and 7 BD for Local numbers to be completed.
Error 30003
"Unreachable destination handset"
The destination handset you are trying to reach is switched off or otherwise unavailable.
Error 30005
"Message Delivery - Unknown destination handset" when Sending SMS. If a message you sent is not delivered to the end device and returns a 30005 error code, this means that delivery of your message failed due to an unknown or inactive destination number, for example a number that is no longer in service
Error 30006
Message Delivery - Landline or unreachable carrier
The destination number is unable to receive this message.
Possible Causes
- The destination number is unable to receive this message. Potential reasons could include trying to reach a landline or, in the case of short codes, an unreachable carrier.
- Your message was sent to a landline, or an unreachable carrier for this phone number type.
Error 30034
US A2P 10DLC - Message from an Unregistered Number
Your number has not been verified yet to send sms.
Error 30019
Content size exceeded carrier limit could be caused by to many characters, or bytes in the message. UCS-2 encoded messages could have different limitations
