Sending Emails

Booster enables you to communicate with your customers via email, provided a valid email is present in their profile. Your shop is assigned a unique email address located at the bottom left corner of your dashboard. You can manage email correspondence directly within your customer dashboard. This lesson will walk you through the process of sending and receiving emails to your customers and others using your account.

Receiving emails:

If a customer replys to an email, it will appear in the communication channel of the repair it was sent from. You will be able to click on the email and view the details and any attahments will appear in the Files section of the customers profile.

If the customer has multiple repairs and sends an email outside of a reply, it will show up in that customers general messages ( as we are unable to know if this email relates to the repair.

If a customer sends an email, and does not have a profile in Booster, the customer profile and new repair record will be created showing the email.

If a customer sends in an email with attachments:


Here are the step-by-step instructions to send an email:

1. Click on the Customer you wish to send an email to.

2. Click on the applicable Repair Record.

3. Click the Down Arrow next to text message #.

4. Select the drop down in the communication panel and choose the Email address. (The box will change to the email address if present). If not you will need to edit the customer details to add an email address.

5. Click in the subject box and type out your email. You have the ability to format the email as you see fit. You can also send the email as a CC by toggling on this button and adding in the email address.

6. You have a few options before sending the email.

  1. Add any attachments- click the paperclip ICON and upload your files.

  2. Schedule the email at a future time and or date - click on the Clock ICON

  3. Click on the SEND button.

7. The email will show in the message history for you and the customer to see.

8. If you click on the email, it will open larger to the right side.

9. You can close the email by clicking on the x in the top right corner.
