Repair Status Functions

This lesson will go over the different types of statuses.

There are Customer statuses and Repair statuses.

You can easily change a customer status between Active and Archived. This will affect how your customers show up in your main panel based on the filter views


A customer status will automatically change from Active to Archived when:

  1. A repair record is marked Completed, Closed Lost, or Trash.

A customer status will automatically change from Archived to Active when:

  1. A customer sends in a text message
  2. You add or reopen a repair record

Here are the steps on how to manually change the Customer and Repair Statuses.​

1. Click on the Customer you wish to change status or archive.

2. Select the correct Repair Record.

3. Click on the dropdown next to the current status of the repair.

4. Click on the correct status.

This will set in any automation if you have marked the repair as one of the following: Completed, Closed Lost, or Trash.


To archive a customer profile:

1. Scroll down and find Customer Status:

2. Click on the dropdown next to Active to change Customer Status to Archived.

3. Click on Archived. If there is an active repair, you will get an alert.


4. Click on, "This will set the Status ‘Completed’ on the following repair(s): YEAR Make Model. Are you sure you wish to proceed?"

5. Click on Yes if you wish to continue to archive the customer.

6. To see the archived customer records, Click on # Filters Applied.

7. Remove the filters by clicking the X next to each.

8. Click on Close.

9. You will see the archived customers, denoted by the small file shown below.
